Simple weight loss tips to maintain your New Year’s resolution through the last 90 days. I’m not a fitness guru, I just know a few tips to help you lose weight.
I’ve personally lost 30 in the last 12 months with minimal exercise.
Biggest Tip of Weight Loss is Output over Input
I’m not telling you anything new here, right? More calories pushed out the body then brought in means you’ll lose weight.
But, I’m going to give you tips on how to do that. I’m not going to tell you anything new except how to do it.
In the first 16 hours of the day is when you need to eat the bulk of your food.
That’s 12 am to 4 pm, if your a regular daytime worker.
Eat lots of food first thing in the morning, give your body lots of fuel to work on,
Don’t wait until your body needs fuel at 8 pm, fill it up at 4 pm.
Start your day with a big protein breakfast. Doesn’t have to be meat, I found yogurts with 10 grams or more of protein and ate two of them.
I paired yogurts with a meal replacement drink from this company and I was full until 11 am, even working a laborious job out in the heat.
Everyone loves to eat fried chicken, so how can I replace that? I bought one of these, they are pricey but you gain the money back by not buying all the cooking oil.
It cooks with air and there is no difference in the taste or crispiness. I use it to cook pork chops, steaks, and of course chicken. It is well worth the money spent.
Another thing people don’t realize is that after breakfast, most people next big meal is dinner. But you need to eat throughout the day to avoid a big dinner.
You should have eaten 75% of your daily caloric intake by the time dinner comes around, so dinner should only be 500-750 calories.
Are any dinners really falling between these numbers, NO.
Avoiding a Big Dinner
So, how does one avoid a big dinner, keep eating fruits, vegetables, or meal replacement items throughout the day.
Fruit and veggies give you little caloric intake, which means your winning the battle.
Shop at your local farmer’s market the weekend before and plan out your snacks. Cut up cucumbers, carrots, apples, oranges, or anything you can snack on instead of potato chips.
Snacks are the worst because most of the time you are adding high calories, but little protein. Also think of the drink you are pairing with that snack.
You probably drink 400 calories a day, that’s all a waste. Try to add a powder to water to make it taste better to save you those calories.
Protein is the word you are looking for on any food going into your mouth.
Better snack ideas would be: rolled up lunch meat, yes instead of a roast beef sandwich, eat it all individually.
Roll the roast beef around cheese and eat it that way, the bread add little nutritional value, so why eat it?
We eat it cause it is amazingly good, but it’s something we can do without a few days a week.
Tuna or canned chicken paired with red beans and rice is also a great snack that will fill you up and help you avoid that big dinner.
All of these tips here are nothing new, but the biggest one is don’t get hungry at 8 pm. Remember to use this app when you are doing your shopping, so you can earn money back.
Make sure you are putting enough food through your body before then. If you get hungry a meal replacement bar, drink, or more fruits and veggies is what you should eat, not a 900 calorie meal that late at night because it will just soak into the body. There is no time to burn through those calories.
